Red tape reduction report 2025
Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada have conducted a broad review of regulations and program administration. The purpose of this review was to identify outdated, inefficient or duplicate regulations that hinder economic growth and create unnecessary burden for businesses and people in Canada.
In total, we have identified 42 key initiatives to reduce red tape, including 24 regulatory and 18 non-regulatory actions.
