Security in contracting and other arrangements - Competencies
Key activities
- Perform risk assessment to provide advice as part of tendering, awarding, and administering contracts and other arrangements from a security perspective to ensure the inclusion of appropriate security requirements with proper monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
- Plan and coordinate security related projects such as the design and/or implementation of appropriate security requirements associated with contracts and/or other arrangements through all stages of the contracting or arrangement process.
- Support the development, implementation, interpretation, and/or application of government and departmental security policies, standards and guidelines, and the Departmental Security Plan.
- Work with Lead Security Agencies and other government departments to exchange best practices and lessons learned.

- Knowledge of security fundamentals, and security legislation, regulations, policies, and practices
