Defence industry support team
We have staff dedicated to helping clients understand and pursue opportunities in the defence industry.
Business officers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba provide regional guidance and maintain relationships with businesses, research institutions, industry associations, and other partners. They can help connect clients with relevant contacts and opportunities in their province.
Our ITB team, based in Ottawa, consists of staff dedicated to supporting the Industrial and Technological Benefits Policy, defence procurement, and the implementation of the Defence Industrial Strategy. They maintain a network of defence contractors and federal partners in Ottawa, and can help connect with defence contractors and to understand defence market opportunities and how to succeed in the complex defence sector.

PrairiesCan business officers can also provide information on funding available through PrairiesCan programs, including the Regional Defence Investment Initiative (RDII), and help identify other supports that may be appropriate for your organization.
