Title: Public Service Commission (PSC) Audit on the application of the order of preference for veterans

Summary: The Public Service Commission launched an audit to identify the impact of a central system data transfer issue for over 3,000 veterans that applied on 2,485 external advertised processes across government. More than 50 federal departments and agencies, including PrairiesCan, were subject to this audit, which is examining whether veterans met the essential qualifications for selection processes they applied to and whether the preference provision was applied. The audit is still underway. Therefore, the report has not been finalized and there were no recommendations for PrairiesCan to date.
