Call for Proposals Training and Capacity Building – Northern Region 2024-2027
The Call for Proposals Training and Capacity Building – Northern Region 2024-2027 is now closed.
Polar Knowledge Canada accepted proposals for 1, 2 and 3 year projects with a start date of June 01, 2024, for northern-based research and training and capacity-building projects.
The objective of this call was to support youth and/or adult programs or support the development and delivery of training and capacity building programs that aimed to develop new skills, enhance career experiences and/or participate in S&T activities. To be considered, projects had to:
- be Northern-placed or -based (see Northern according to Polar Knowledge Canada Conducting Research in Canada's North - Canada.ca); and
- demonstrate a commitment to fund projects that develop new skills, enhance career experiences and/or increase the ability of Northern youth and/or Indigenous peoples to participate in activities that meet Polar Knowledge Canada's Science and Technology (S&T) goals.
Projects funded under this call for proposals were aligned with at least one of Polar Knowledge Canada's Science and Technology (S&T) goals.
