Thank you for your email congratulating me on my appointment as Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence.
I am deeply honored that the Prime Minister has asked me to lead our Government’s ongoing efforts to move forward with enhanced support for all those who bravely served Canada. I will continue to build on our accomplishments to date and will work hard to ensure our benefits and services remain responsive to the changing needs of our diverse Veteran community and their families.
As the Associate Minister of National Defence, I look forward to collaborating with you in the future to ensure the best care and services for our current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
