HMCS Port Colborne
There has been only one vessel named HMCS Port Colborne in the Royal Canadian Navy.
HMCS Port Colborne (K326)
Commissioned at Victoria, British Columbia, on 15 November 1943, the River Class frigate HMCS Port Colborne arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, on 9 January 1944 and proceeded to Bermuda in February to work up.
She sailed for Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in late April to join Escort Group 9, and remained on patrol and escort duty in British waters. She also participated in D-Day, except for a round trip to North Russia in December 1944 with convoys JW.62 and RA.62.
HMCS Port Colborne left Londonderry for Halifax on 21 February 1945, and on 24 September completed a refit at Liverpool, Nova Scotia. On 7 November she was paid off at Halifax and laid up in reserve in Bedford Basin, before being broken up at Sydney, Nova Scotia, in 1947.
