NSICOP Welcomes Appointment of new Member

Ottawa, April 22, 2024 — On April 19, 2024, the Prime Minister announced the appointment of Darren Fisher, Member of Parliament for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour, to the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians (NSICOP).

The Chair of NSICOP, the Honourable David McGuinty, welcomes the appointment of Mr. Fisher. “On behalf of all members of the Committee, I extend a warm welcome to our new member. We look forward to working with him and benefiting from his experience at the federal, municipal and community levels as we continue to examine Canada’s national security and intelligence activities.”
