The grievor challenged an Initial Counselling (IC) she had received for a conduct deficiency. The Committee found that the IC was neither policy compliant, nor justified, and recommended that it be rescinded and removed from the grievor's records. 

FA Decision Summary

The Final Authority (FA) agreed with the Committee's finding that the grievor's request for clarification of her medical limitations did not represent a breach of a Canadian Armed Forces conduct standard, calling it "highly inappropriate to hold members accountable for the actions of their healthcare providers". The FA agreed with the Committee's recommendation and cancelled the IC.
