The grievor complained that he had been denied the Real Estate Incentive (REI) after electing not to sell his home on posting. The Committee found that the grievor did not make the election until 3 months after he received the appraisal on the home and, in accordance with the Canadian Forces Integrated Relocation Program directive, he was required to make the election within 15 working-days. Consequently, the Committee found that the grievor was not entitled to REI and recommended that the Final Authority not afford the grievor redress.
