The grievor argued that it was unfair that he was denied employment as a Flight Attendant (FA) on the basis that his occupation was deemed “RED”, when other members were allowed to leave the occupation for other reasons. The Committee found that others were permitted to exit the occupation for career reasons and given the status of the occupation, it was reasonable to deny the grievor alternate employment as an FA on a temporary basis.
