The grievor requested funding for in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
The Committee found that it would be true to the intent of the Spectrum of care for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) to expand the list of currently funded fertility treatments, thereby preventing CAF members from being disentitled to provincially funded health services that would otherwise be available to them.
The Committee recommended that the grievor be reimbursed for one cycle of IVF.
