What's New: Red Shirt Walk/Run 2012

Staff of the Canadian Forces Grievance Board and the Vice Chairperson, Mr. James Price, joined hundreds of military personnel, civilian employees of the Department of National Defence and supporters from the community for the 6th Red Shirt Walk/Run, held in Ottawa on June 1st, 2012.

In the lead-up to the Canadian Forces Day (June 3rd, 2012), the annual Red Walk/Run celebrates the contributions of military personnel both at home and abroad.

The Canadian Forces Day is the perfect opportunity for us to acknowledge the extraordinary contribution of the men and women of the Canadian Forces. Their selflessness, their readiness to spread goodwill both at home and abroad, and their determination in protecting the Canadian values inspire us in our work every day, said Mr. Price.
