What's New: Red Shirt Walk/Run 2011

Staff of the Canadian Forces Grievance Board and the Chairperson, Bruno Hamel, joined hundreds of military personnel, civilian employees of the Department of National Defence and supporters from the community for the Red Shirt Walk/Run held in Ottawa on June 3rd, 2011.

In the lead-up to the Canadian Forces Day (June 5, 2011), the annual Red Walk/Run celebrates the contributions of military personnel both at home and abroad.

As in the past, we wanted to show our appreciation to the men and women of the Canadian Forces for the way they carry out their mission, critical to our country's safety and security. Their incredible dedication to this nation, as well as their sacrifices in serving Canada, are an inspiration to all of us, said Mr. Hamel.
