Before you start

Step 1 – Fill out the form

Access the online form:

• Use a computer, tablet or mobile device.
• Use a compatible browser: Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
• Complete all required fields.
• Ensure the information you provide is accurate and complete.
• Save your form to complete it later, if needed.
• Switch between English and French without losing your answers.
• Select “Submit” to send your form.

Step 2 – Send your documents

After submitting the form, send the following required documents by email to: bourse-bursary@bac-lac.gc.ca.

• A copy of your proof of status as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person (do not send original documents)
• Proof of enrollment in a Canadian postsecondary institution (university, college or CEGEP) in a program leading to a career in the documentary heritage sector (libraries or archives)

After you submit your application

• You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
• We will publish the names of recipients on our website once the selection committee has made its decision.
• We will contact selected applicants only.
