Changes to our distribution lists: end of the LISTSERV platform
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is shutting down its LISTSERV platform. As a result, on June 30, 2026, access to the following LISTSERVs will be changed to read-only: BIBCANLIB-L, CANLIT-L, CBEC-CCEL, FLC-CBF-GEN, and METADATA. They will be taken offline soon after that.
This is necessary because the host server has reached the end of its service life. LAC is unable to replace it for a number of reasons, including evolving security requirements within the Government of Canada.
