Preservation Centre visit — June 15, 2026

Alexane came to the National Capital Region to discover the collections, the people, and the stories that bring Library and Archives Canada to life. During her visit, she got a behind-the-scenes look at preservation efforts and learned about various aspects of our teams’ work, including the restoration of photographs, maps and manuscripts, books, videos and films, and paintings. She had the chance to speak with our passionate conservators, who told her about their craft and some particularly interesting projects.
