Public Comment Period on Draft Canada – British Columbia Impact Assessment Cooperation Agreement
Canada and British Columbia have developed a draft cooperation agreement on impact assessment. The draft agreement describes the ways our jurisdictions would work together on impact assessments. It sets out opportunities to align timelines, and increase clarity and consistency for proponents, Indigenous peoples and the public through the assessment process.
The public and Indigenous peoples are invited to share their views on the draft agreement until August 7, 2019, by submitting comments to ceaa.intergovernmentalrelations-relationsintergouvernementales.acee@canada.ca.
