Canadian employers

Canadian employers seeking skilled workers to fill positions in provinces and territories other than Quebec can participate as exhibitors in Destination Canada Mobility Forum events.

For the 22nd edition of the Forum, priority sectors include:

  • early childhood education and teaching
  • information technology
  • tourism, hospitality, culinary and food industries
  • aeronautics and aerospace
  • health
  • construction
  • transportation and logistics

What to expect from our activities

Our activities are focused on

  • providing Francophone immigration information and networking opportunities to candidates
  • helping candidates connect with Canadian employers looking to fill positions outside Quebec

Find the right candidates

Our events and activities are an opportunity to reach a large number of qualified and motivated candidates who are looking for information about jobs opportunities, immigration programs and settlement services across Canada. Most of the candidates invited to our activities will not yet have a work permit or permanent resident status. However, invited candidates may obtain:

  • a work permit under the Francophone Mobility stream, which allows you to hire French-speaking or bilingual candidates for positions outside Quebec
    • these candidates do not need a labor market impact assessment
  • an open work permit, such as a Working Holiday permit
    • candidates can then come to Canada immediately and start working the day they arrive

What we provide

For in-person activities, we provide a booth free of charge.

We will ask you to provide feedback on the candidates and inform us of any hires through the Destination Canada Mobility Forum.
