Who can get services

You can get free online services if

• we approved your permanent residence application
• you’re currently outside Canada
• you have 1 of these documents:
  • a letter from us saying you’re eligible for pre-arrival services
  • a confirmation of permanent residence letter
  • a passport request letter that says you’ve been issued a permanent resident visa
  • an information sheet that proves you’ve completed your immigration medical exam
  • a single-entry permanent resident visa
  • a letter from us inviting you to pick up your permanent resident visa

 Who isn’t eligible

Pre-arrival services aren’t available if you’re coming to Canada temporarily. This includes visitors, international students and temporary workers with a visa or permit.
