Backlog Reduction Offices Open for Business
Effective April 1, 2011, applications for pre-removal risk assessments (PRRA) and humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) consideration have been transferred to a new office in Vancouver, which will review, triage, and distribute the files to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) network.
Please note that it is your responsibility to keep your application up-to-date. IRCC officers will render decisions based on the information included in the file at time of decision.
If you need to update a PRRA or H&C application, please send your information by fax at 604-666-1116 or e-mail to: VancouverBRO@cic.gc.ca. Please note that no acknowledgement of receipt will be provided.
Note: IRCC is reminding all applicants that keeping their applications up-to-date is the responsibility of the applicant. Whether the application is for temporary or permanent status, if your circumstances change and this may affect your application then you need to inform IRCC of the change so that decision-makers have all of the information that you wish to be considered before them as they decide upon your application.
