How to get a police certificate – Falkland Islands
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

You must provide a police certificate when you apply for:
- permanent residence
- citizenship
- some temporary residence programs

How to apply
If you live in or outside of Falkland Islands
Contact the Royal Falkland Islands Police (see Contact information for the complete address).
If you’re military personnel
A search will be carried out by the Association of Criminal Records Office (ACRO) on Red Cap. You only need to present a United Kingdom Police Certificate issued by ACRO.
