ARCHIVED – Notice – Update on fee returns for applications affected by the termination of the Immigrant Investor Program and the Federal Entrepreneur Program
March 19, 2015 – On June 19, 2014, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) terminated the federal Immigrant Investor Program (IIP) and the Entrepreneur Program (EN) to revamp our business immigration programs and better align them with our current economic needs.
As a result, CIC has been returning fees paid to the Department for applications to these programs that were terminated. CIC has made multiple attempts to reach out to both immigrant representatives and/or principal applicants in an effort to return the fees.
If your application to the IIP or the EN has been terminated and you have not yet been contacted by CIC or by your immigration representative regarding the return of your fees, please follow these instructions and complete the required form, or contact us at RetourdefraisPIIEN.IIPENFeeReturn@cic.gc.ca.
