Client experience survey for passports issued in 2026
Ottawa, July 30, 2026—If you received a passport issued by the Government of Canada between January 1st and June 30, 2026, you may be invited to participate in a client experience survey by email.
About the survey
To help improve passport services, the Government of Canada is collecting feedback from randomly selected clients who received a passport in 2026.
From August to October 2026, you may receive an email inviting you to participate in a survey about your experience with the Passport Program to help us understand whether our services met your expectations. Alternatively, you may receive an invitation with your new passport that allows you to take the survey online. The survey is being conducted by the research firm Advanis.
Completing the survey is voluntary. If you don’t wish to participate, you may simply choose not to complete the survey. Your participation will be kept confidential. Your decision to participate will not affect any past, current or future passport applications.
The results of the survey will help us identify trends and opportunities to improve client experience.
Note the following:
- The survey will take about 15 to 20 minutes and will be offered in both official languages.
- If you are selected, you’ll receive an invitation to complete the survey by email.
- We will not ask you for your passport details, such as your passport number or your personal financial information.
- The survey will be sent from canpassport2026@advanis.net and the link will begin with “surveys.advanis.ca/passport2026”.
