- Demographic weight of Francophones outside Quebec (QC) decreased to 3.5% in 2021. Could decline to 3% by 2036.
- 2003-2024, 132 195 French-speaking immigrants were admitted to Canada outside Quebec as permanent residents (PRs).
- OLLO recommends target of 12% 2024, and 20% 2036.
Official Languages Action Plan 2023-2028 released April 2023
- Brings total investment in official languages (OL) to $4.1B over 5 years.
