Program delivery update: On-campus and student work placement work [R186(f)] – Authorization to work without a work permit – International Mobility Program

The information for officers in the instructions for on-campus work has been updated.
- Removed the requirement for post-secondary co-op work permit (C32) applications as of April 1, 2026. Eligible students will perform work that is an essential part of a post-secondary academic, vocational or professional training program offered by a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada through the on-campus work authorization.
- Changed the title of the page from “Study permits: Working on campus” to “On-campus and student work placement work [R186(f)] - Authorization to work without a work permit – International Mobility Program.”
- Reformatted the page to be consistent with the International Mobility Program’s preferred format.
- Updated the definition of on-campus work and the guidance on eligibility requirements, work locations and occupations.
