Program delivery update: New grounds for refugee claim ineligibility

On March 26, 2026, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act was amended to include new grounds on which refugee claims may be found ineligible for referral to the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). In addition to outlining these new grounds of ineligibility, this update contains minor updates to the section covering A101(1)(c.1), as well as general improvements.
