These instructions have been updated to reflect the new Manitoba Workforce Transition Bridge temporary public policy which replaces instructions tied to the expired Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Potential Nominee Program Candidates and Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Alberta, Manitoba and Yukon Nominee Program Candidates public policies.
Updates include:
- Changes to eligibility criteria and documentary evidence
- Clarifications on processing applications received under the expired public policies
- Changes to the application assessment section
- Indication that the City of destination is Manitoba NES to ensure the applicant’s open work permit clearly states it is specific to the province
- General improvements to flow and clarity
