These new instructions outline the processing of applications received under a temporary public policy (TPP) to support certain Ukrainian nationals currently in Canada and their eligible family members who have applied under the Family reunification for Ukrainian nationals pathway to permanent residence. The TPP provides options to maintain or restore temporary resident status (TR) in Canada while the processing of their permanent residence (PR) application continues.
