April 4, 2025

These program delivery instructions have been updated in accordance with the new Ministerial Instructions that came into effect on February 4, 2025.

In particular, the criteria for assessing whether an applicant is a victim of human trafficking have been clarified, the recommended duration of the initial TRP has increased, and the fee exemptions have been expanded to cover initial and subsequent TRPs, work permits, study permits, and biometrics.

Additionally, the minimum recommended length of a TRP for victims of family violence has increased from 6 months to 12 months.
