Program delivery update: Crisis Response Temporary Measures

Program Delivery Instructions (PDIs) for in-Canada temporary special measures related to crises in Haiti, Palestine, Sudan, and Ukraine have been updated to clarify key points and ensure consistency across all instructions. Updates include:
- Clarification of temporary resident status requirements
- Clarification that clients may apply for restoration of status concurrently with an application for extension of status under crisis measures
- Guidance on the use of the Entry/Exit Program
- Standardized refusal language for client facing correspondence
- Reiteration of the requirement to use ORG IDs for tracking crisis related applications
- Typological alignment of PDIs across all crisis response measures
- Addition of information on Transitional Financial Assistance (TFA) for individuals and families impacted by the crisis in Gaza
All measures remain in effect until the expiry date specified in the instructions for each crisis. No expiry dates have been updated at this time.
