Program delivery update: Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and International Mobility Program (IMP) – Persons who may apply at a port of entry

There were 2 sets of instructions explaining to processing officers how foreign nationals could apply for work permits from outside of Canada. To reduce confusion, one set of instructions has been removed, and all links have been redirected to the remaining instructions: Method of application for temporary resident visas (TRVs), electronic travel authorizations (eTAs), study permits, work permits and visitor records.
Updates were also made to a different set of instructions on who may apply for a work permit at a port of entry to clarify who must apply online.
