These instructions were updated to include the procedure for foreign nationals who had study permit approval overseas, but who did not obtain the permit at a port of entry (POE) in Canada. These foreign nationals should reach out to the IRCC Client Support Centre for guidance on how to acquire their study permit in Canada.
