Nationals of Venezuela are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), Federal Court or previous pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA) decision was made between October 10, 2023, and October 9, 2024, inclusive. Nationals of Venezuela whose decision was made after October 9, 2024, are subject to the 12-month bar.
