Nationals of Uganda are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board or previous pre-removal risk assessment decision was made between May 13, 2022, and May 12, 2023, inclusive. Nationals of Uganda with a decision made after May 12, 2023 are subject to the 12-month bar.
