The Temporary Public Policy for Out-of-Status Construction Workers in the GTA was implemented on January 2, 2020. It has been extended until January 2, 2024, or once 1,000 principal applicants (including their accompanying family members) have been granted permanent residence, whichever comes first.
The PDI updates reflect the increased cap and end date of this new public policy.
