This update provides additional instructions related to the equivalencies between the Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens NCLC for French and the TEF language test results. This update will provide general guidance to IRCC officers on the use of the new language test equivalency charts. It also provides clarification on the Pearson Test of English Core (PTE Core), anticipated to be accepted by IRCC as of early 2024.
