The open work permit labour market impact assessment (LMIA) exemption categories table has been updated to correctly reflect where applicants under the open work permit pilot program for permanent residence applicants in the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class [R207 – code A70] and occupation-restricted open work permit applicants under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot or Home Support Worker Pilot – Category A [R205(a) – C90] can apply for the open work permit.
Neither of these categories can apply at the port of entry.
