The instructions were updated to reflect new guidance regarding
- how long Express Entry applicants have to submit an electronic application for permanent residence after being issued an invitation to apply (90 calendar days instead of 60)
- when the 6-month processing standard begins (when the application is submitted based on the application received date in the Global Case Management System)
- acceptable translation of supporting documents into English or French for Express Entry
