Effective September 3, 2021 processing instructions to networks on the prioritization of family class applications, protected persons in Canada and their dependants overseas as well as dependants of resettled Afghan refugees have been updated to include the Temporary Public Policy for Afghan nationals in Canada and outside Canada (effective between August 25, 2021 and February 28th, 2022). Instructions have also been updated to reflect additional processing instructions for officers.
