Program delivery update: COVID-19 – Foreign nationals who are in Canada with a letter of introduction (LOI)

The instructions have been updated on the examination and issuance of study and work permits for foreign nationals in Canada who received an approval of their application outside of Canada. This process is done by the Domestic Network upon receipt of a request from the foreign national through the IRCC Web form.
Updates include specifying that the client must have valid status, providing new response templates for those who aren’t eligible and adding more detail to officers’ instructions.
