Program delivery update: Victims or survivors of family violence – Humanitarian and compassionate grounds

“The humanitarian and compassionate assessment: Dealing with family relationships” has been updated to include a new section called “Victims or survivors of family violence”, which provides examples of circumstances for officers to determine if an exemption from section 39 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act may be applied.

The “Financial inadmissibility” instructions have been updated to include a cross reference to the new section mentioned above.
