The instructions have been updated to reflect that
- students who have completed their program of study are allowed to work while they are waiting for a decision on their post-graduation work permit application
- applicants eligible to work full time without a work permit while waiting for a decision on their application under paragraph 186(w) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) maintain their eligibility to work even after leaving and re-entering Canada
