The CELPIP-Academic (CELPIP-A) test was retired in August 2015. The CELPIP-General (CELPIP-G) test results are accepted by IRCC for both immigration and citizenship purposes, and the CELPIP-General ‒ Listening and Speaking (CELPIP-G LS) test is accepted by IRCC for citizenship purposes only.
