The instructions for work permits have been updated to add guidance on persons determined by the Chief Public Health Officer to be providing an essential service while in Canada and who may be work permit exempt.
Other minor updates have been added throughout the instructions to provide further clarity.
In addition, instructions for a new public policy allowing visitors in Canada to apply for an employer-specific work permit have been added.
