New instructions are available on Connexion for citizenship delivery abroad.
Global Affairs Canada (GAC) delivers certain elements of the Citizenship Program abroad, and Citizenship Program Delivery in Citizenship and Passport Program Guidance (CPPG) supports this delivery of services through directives.
The new instructions are a compilation of citizenship program directives from the GAC intranet, which will now be housed on the IRCC intranet, with some program updates.
These directives support the delivery of the following citizenship lines of business:
- proof of citizenship
- renunciations
- search of records
