The pre-removal risk assessment (PRRA) instructions were previously updated on June 21, 2019, to reflect amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) as a result of the Budget Implementation Act, 2019, No. 1.
IRCC regularly consults with the stakeholder community on program delivery instructions (PDIs). The department also conducts ongoing reviews of PDIs for accuracy and relevance. The PRRA instructions have been updated again to reflect feedback received from both these exercises.
