The Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exemption codes list and the quick reference guide to occupations have been updated with the new LMIA exemption codes that were created for the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
These codes are as follows:
- T50 – CPTPP investors
- T51 – CPTPP intra-corporate transferees
- T52 – CPTPP professionals and technicians
- T53 – CPTPP spouses
