Program delivery update: Corrections to the French version of the procedures for the R117(9)(d)/R125(1)(d) pilot

This section contains policy, procedures and guidance used by IRCC staff. It is posted on the department’s website as a courtesy to stakeholders.

November 21, 2019

A correction was made to the French version under the Eligibility section to be in line with the English version. The correction clarifies that the public policy applies if the sponsor was granted permanent residence status in Canada as a “dependant” of a resettled refugee or protected person, where “dependant” includes a spouse or a common-law partner and dependent children. As a result, “enfants à charge” was replaced with “personnes à charge”.
