Program delivery update: The authority of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to request evidence of compliance when assessing study permit conditions

The instructions on assessing study permit conditions have been updated to clarify CBSA inland officers’ authority to request evidence of compliance with study permit conditions.

The following note has been added: “CBSA officers may exercise the authority of subsection R220.1(4) only as part of their immigration functions for port of entry examinations.”
